Lima, Peru (June 2018 - April 2020)
I loved the 2 years I spent in Peru! I met so many amazing people and have such a deep respect for the Peruvian people.
During these 2 years, I led and motivated 5-7 other representatives to be goal oriented and work towards self-improvement. I also planned and delivered weekly trainings to help representatives increase performance and enhance teamwork.
I got to talk to dozens of people every day about things that make me happy.
For my Eagle Project I built two wooden cubby shelves for Edgemont Elementary School (my elementary school). Teachers use these to pass papers and other small items out to all their students, and collect papers and small items back. I was very happy with how these shelves turned out!
I loved camping and learning new skills from the BSA.
My biggest responsibly as Senior Class Vice President since graduation is planning class reunions. We had our 5 year reunion recently and I am looking forward to planning future reunions!
In highschool I helped plan and execute a veteran's day assembly, after the assembly we fed the veterans and their families, there were 100+ people!
I also helped with our school's sub for santa program where we raised over $70,000!
