Software Developer (Salesforce Platform) at SOLVD.cloud

  1. Developed custom invoice payment processing solution with Apex, has processed $40 million since implementation, including invoices, payment methods (add, delete), transactions (charge, refund, void), reporting, and notifications
  2. Enhanced Apex and LWCs of a SAAS client’s Salesforce app exchange listing that serves 40% of their customer base
  3. Owned project management, timeline, budget, and client relationship of engagements, 75% of customers re-engaged, increasing profitability
  4. Coded an extendable metadata driven API integration framework for a law firm. This allowed them to onboard new referall partners by configuring only metadata, which saved them multiple weeks in partner onboarding time
  5. Built a credit card residuals management app in Salesforce, replacing an industry specific CRM saving $50,000 per year. This included tracking all credit card transactions at their customers' locations, calculating residual costs and payouts, and much more.
  6. Led data migration of records from Jira to Salesforce using Python for cleaning data and remapping values, replacing a manual process and reducing data load time by 80%

I led Salesforce implementation projects at SOLVD. I managed project timelines, scope, budget, client relationships, and outcomes as the project manager. I conducted analysis and design, iteratively built based on these designs, and gathered feedback and conducted UAT

Master's Capstone Project - Salesforce Developer

August 2023 - April 2024

We built a package that ingests a natural language user story and uses AI to generate unit tests to validate the user story

  1. Developed Apex that iteratively sends user story to our GPT 3.5 model, received code back, created and ran unit tests
  2. Packaged code and dependencies into beta package that could be installed into any Salesforce sandbox org
  3. Created AWS architecture for customer management and AI interaction middleware. This included Lambda Functions, Lambda Layers, an RDS, and an API Gateway. Basically this meant we could control access for our customers outside of Salesforce's out-of-the-box customer management tool, which gave us more flexibility

American Heritage is a required course at BYU that spans US History, Political Science, and Economics. This class typically had around 800 students per semester, so the AM HTG department relies on the Teaching Assitants very heavily to teach students once a week in a lab, help their understanding in TA office hours, and grade assignments.

During this time, I mentored 3-4 TAs as a “TA lead”, trained TAs to help students succeed, improving students' university experience.

I guided 200+ students, received 95% satisfaction from student surveys, received returning job offers across 4 semesters.

The professors asked for ideas to maintain student engagement during COVID and online learning. I took the initiative to put together a TA band to perform "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival, which the students loved!

This was a door to door sales job, meaning it was incredibly tough and grueling work that required a lot of discipline, mental resilience, and self motivation.

I gained some super valuable sales and soft-skills during this job which has helped me in my career as a consultant and will continue to help me in my career.

One of my biggest takeways from this job was that I can do extremely hard things, and I do not give up once I set my mind to something.

This was such an amazing job! You should definitely visit the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, Hawaii (on Oahu).

I learned some important soft skills at this job while dealing with hundreds of tourists per day, many of which were international and many were from all over the USA.

This job taught me the value and strength of diversity and of being involved in the community.
